You pay only for the people who used it this month. ## What does Etekos AI do at school? What the big AI tools do, organised for school work: ready-made assistants, files, pictures and a limit for everyone. - **Tests and worksheets**: A test with answers, a worksheet in three levels, assessment criteria. The result is a Word, PDF or Excel file to print or edit right away. Example: “A worksheet on fractions for year 5 in three levels.” - **Summary of a law or a link**: Paste a link to a law, a news article or a ministry page, or attach a PDF. Etekos AI reads it and tells you what matters, with the source. Example: “Read this regulation and tell me what changes for teachers.” - **Pictures for lessons**: Illustrations, diagrams, posters and colouring pages from a description, with correct Latvian letters. Pictures are made by an AI model in the EU. Example: “Draw a photosynthesis diagram with Latvian labels.” - **Posters and slides in Canva**: If the school chooses it, Etekos AI creates the design directly in your Canva account, where you can keep editing it. Example: “Make a poster for the school sports day in Canva.” - **Scanned documents and photos**: A scanned PDF or a phone photo of text is read. Ask about the content, compare it or rewrite it. Example: “What is the contract number in this scanned document?” - **Letters, e-mails and minutes**: A letter to parents, a formal e-mail, meeting minutes or an event plan in correct Latvian or English and the right tone. Etekos AI is built so a school can answer this in one sentence: in the European Union, and only for your work. - **Your organisation**: Staff sign in with the Microsoft or Google account you choose. We store no passwords. - **Etekos server in Finland**: Chats and files are stored in Finland (EU). The connection is always encrypted. - **AI models in the EU**: Answers come from the most popular AI models in EU data centres. Data is never used for training. - **No training on your data**: Neither Etekos nor the AI model provider uses your chats to train AI models. - **Management cannot read chats**: The school administrator sees usage, never what anyone wrote. - **Data processing agreement**: We sign a data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28) with every customer before work starts. - **Clear retention**: Chats are kept for up to 12 months and can be deleted earlier. - **EU AI Act**: Users always see they are talking to AI. Pupils' personal data must not be entered. - **Single sign-on**: Staff sign in with the single sign-on method you choose: Microsoft or Google. ## What does school management get? Nothing to install. We set it up, run it and keep it updated; you just use it. - **Microsoft or Google sign-in**: With Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, whichever you choose. A leaver loses access together with the account. - **A limit for everyone**: Every staff member has a monthly limit they can see, so the invoice never surprises you. - **Smart model choice**: A fast model answers simple questions, a stronger one the hard ones. Staff do not notice; the school pays less. - **20+ ready assistants**: Lesson plan, test, worksheet, assessment criteria, letter to parents, minutes and more. - **Your domain, name and logo**: Etekos AI can run on your own domain, for example ai.yourdomain.lv or mi.yourdomain.lv, with your name and logo. - **One invoice**: One monthly invoice for the whole school instead of a subscription for every staff member. ## Price: pay only for the people who use it Only active users count: those who signed in at least once that month. In summer the invoice shrinks by itself. - 1–150 active users: €7 per user per month - 151–300 active users: €6.50 per user per month - 301 and more: €6 per user per month - Minimum invoice €140 a month - Setup €290 once - 12-month contract, no automatic renewal An active user is a staff member who signed in at least once that month. The price includes a fair-use AI allowance for the whole school. If it runs out before the month ends, the chat continues on the fastest model at no extra cost. We reply with an offer and a contract. 2. **Data processing agreement**: We sign the contract and the data processing agreement. The school decides who uses the tool and how. 3. **Setup in 1 working day**: Your domain (for example ai.yourdomain.lv), logo, Microsoft or Google sign-in, limits and ready assistants. 4. **Work and training**: A short training for colleagues, and we help on workdays. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is Etekos AI? Etekos AI is an AI chat for public institutions, schools and companies. It runs the most popular AI models, data is processed in the European Union, and staff sign in with Microsoft or Google. It is provided by SIA ETEKOS, Latvia. ### Does the data stay in the European Union? Yes. Chats and files are stored on a server in Finland, and answers come from AI models in EU data centres. ### Are our chats used for AI training? No. Neither Etekos nor the AI model provider uses customers' chats or files to train models. ### Can school management read staff chats? No. The administrator sees usage and limits, never the content of chats. ### How much does it cost? €7 a month per active user (€6.50 for 151–300 users, €6 from 301), minimum €140 a month, setup €290 once, prices without VAT. You pay only for the people who signed in that month. ### What happens when the limit runs out? Every staff member has a personal monthly limit and the school has a shared AI allowance. If the allowance runs out, the chat continues on the fastest model at no extra cost. Only the school itself can order more. ### Can pupils use it? Etekos AI is currently meant for staff. Pupils' personal data must not be entered. ### Can it be bought without a procurement procedure? Usually yes: for a school with 100 staff the first year stays under €10,000 without VAT. The calculator shows whether your total stays under this threshold. ### How is it different from free ChatGPT or Copilot? Etekos AI processes data in the EU, comes with a data processing agreement from a Latvian company, uses Microsoft or Google sign-in, has a limit per person, 20+ ready assistants for school work and support in Latvian and English. ### Can we use our own domain? Yes. Etekos AI can run on a subdomain of your domain, for example ai.yourdomain.lv or mi.yourdomain.lv. You add one DNS record, we set up the rest. ### How fast can we start? After the contracts are signed, setup takes one working day. ### How does Etekos AI meet the GDPR and the AI Act? We sign a data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28) with every customer. Data is processed in the European Union and never used for AI training, the administrator cannot see chat content, and users always see that they are talking to an AI. ### Which languages does it work in? The ready assistants are in Latvian. The AI models also understand and answer in English, Russian, German and other languages.
