AI for teachers and school management
Etekos AI is an AI chat for school staff. Teachers sign in with the school's Microsoft or Google account and get ready assistants for tests, worksheets, lesson plans and letters. Data stays in the European Union, and the school pays only for the people who used it this month.

What teachers use it for
These are the tasks teachers at the pilot school start with most often.
Tests with an answer sheet
A test on a topic for a given year, in several difficulty levels, with an answer sheet, as a Word, PDF or Moodle file.
Worksheets and differentiated tasks
One worksheet in three levels, an easier version for a pupil with learning difficulties, extra tasks for the fastest.
Lesson plans and assessment criteria
A lesson plan with aim, steps and timing, learning outcomes and assessment criteria in a table.
Letters to parents and minutes
A letter about a trip, a notice to the class, meeting minutes or an event plan in correct Latvian.
Feedback on pupils' work
Comments on an essay or a letter against the teacher's criteria. The teacher always gives the mark.
Pictures and diagrams
Illustrations, diagrams and posters with correct Latvian letters. If the school chooses it, designs can continue in Canva.
For vocational schools
The pilot school is a technical school, so some tools are made for teaching trades.
Calculations
12 calculators, for example for material quantities and electricity. The result also appears in a separate panel you can check.
Drawings and 3D models
Etekos AI reads layers and text of DXF and DWG drawings, and a 3D model (for example STL) can be viewed in the browser.
Scanned documents
A scanned PDF or a phone photo of text is read, and you can ask about its content.
What school management gets
Sign-in with the school account
Staff sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. When someone leaves and the account is closed, access ends by itself.
A limit for everyone
Every staff member has a monthly limit they can see. The school's invoice cannot exceed what the contract says.
Management cannot read chats
The administrator sees total usage, not what anyone wrote and not each person's usage.
One invoice
One monthly invoice for the whole school. In summer, when fewer people use it, the invoice is smaller.
Buying without a tender
Latvian public procurement law allows buying a service without a procurement procedure when the contract value is under €10,000 without VAT.

Calculation: €7 per active user per month, 12 months and €290 setup. The minimum is €140 a month. If fewer people use it in summer, the yearly total is lower. The calculator on etekos.com/en/ai shows the exact amount.
Pilot school
A vocational school in Vidzeme has been piloting Etekos AI since autumn 2026. Teachers told us which assistants and tools their subjects need, and some are already built: calculators, drawing reading and the 3D model viewer.
Frequently asked questions
Can pupils use Etekos AI?
Etekos AI is currently meant for school staff. Pupils' personal data, such as names together with marks, must not be entered.
Can the AI give marks?
No. The AI can help draft comments against the teacher's criteria, but the teacher decides and gives the mark. The EU AI Act also treats assessing learning outcomes as a high-risk use.
How fast can a school start?
After the contract and the data processing agreement are signed, setup takes one working day.
Do teachers need training?
A short introduction helps. Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires the school to take measures to build the AI literacy of staff who use AI. Etekos offers training as an extra service.
